Protect your family from the sun's harmful rays. Excessive exposure to sunlight during childhood and adolescence can cause skin cancer later in life. Apply waterproof sunscreen with a minimum SPF of 15 about one-half hour prior to going out into the sun. The higher the SPF, the better the protection.  Reapply as per product directions. Lip protection containing SPF, hats/visors, sunglasses, and beach umbrellas can provide added protection. Remember that the sun's rays are strongest between 10AM and 2PM. Risk of sunburn exist even on cloudy, overcast days especially at the seashore. Always seek out shaded areas for best protection!
