Information about Lice
Lice are a common problem, usually affecting children of school age and their families. They are tiny insects that are tan, brown or grey in color, and found close to the scalp and behind the ears of those affected. Lice need human blood to live and are most commonly spread by direct contact with the hair of an infested person. Lice are not a sign of poor hygiene or a dirty living environment.
